Hans von Hamburg is a gorgeous 4 month old long haired German Shepherd mix puppy. He is a wonderful pupster learning the ropes in a foster home with 2 other dogs. Per the foster, Hans is an "absolute sweetheart" who attaches quickly. Gentle, smart, and eager to learn, he thrives on praise and is already housebroken. In just a few days he learned a solid Sit, is working on Down and quickly got the hang of Drop it. He hasn't been at all destructive, enjoys his toys, and doesn't play bite, so he would be an option for a family with kids. He would thrive in a home with another dog. "He looks up to our 7 year old GSD and respects her space, but wrestles with the lab (as she invites it)." "He's understanding the world around him," including a visiting small dog, a tortoise and cat. With the tortoise he was initially unsure, but soon got over that; he would need some continued training around small dogs or cats. Hans is a very special pup who would love to join your family.
